Job Description

As a Data Analyst in the Business Intelligence (BI) team at Wipro, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights. You will collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various business systems to support strategic decisions across departments. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You’ll work closely with business units, developers, and data engineers to create dashboards, generate reports, and support predictive modeling and automation projects. Collect and clean data from multiple internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and consistency. Build dashboards and interactive reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView. Analyze trends, patterns, and anomalies in large data sets and translate them into clear business insights. Design and execute SQL queries to extract data from relational databases like MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle. Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data models and reports. Automate recurring data processes and reports using Python, R, or advanced Excel functions. Collaborate with data engineers and developers to ensure data pipelines are efficient and accurate. Communicate insights through storytelling and data visualization to influence strategic decisions.
