Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer at Wipro, you will be responsible for implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud deployment processes. Your primary focus will be on optimizing development workflows, ensuring application scalability, and enhancing operational reliability. You will collaborate closely with developers, system architects, QA teams, and IT security to drive efficient DevOps practices across projects. This role demands a deep understanding of DevOps tools, scripting, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud-native technologies. Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Deploy applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP using containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Monitor application and infrastructure performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog. Implement security best practices in pipelines and infrastructure (DevSecOps). Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve release cycles and reduce downtime. Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, optimize performance, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery. Maintain configuration management and environment consistency across development, staging, and production. Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
