Job Description

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer – Automotive Systems at Bosch Limited, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality are met in Bosch’s automotive products. This role involves working on the development, testing, and validation of various automotive systems including safety, powertrain, and driver assistance systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, and supply chain, to implement robust quality assurance processes. Your goal is to ensure that Bosch's automotive systems meet both regulatory standards and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive quality assurance (QA) strategies and plans for automotive products. Conduct quality tests and validation for automotive systems, including hardware and software components. Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 26262, IATF 16949). Work closely with product development teams to review design specifications and define quality criteria for new products. Participate in failure mode analysis (FMEA) and root cause analysis to identify and resolve quality issues during product development. Conduct functional testing, integration testing, and regression testing to ensure products meet functional requirements. Implement automated testing frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product quality and performance. Identify and recommend process improvements in quality control procedures and product development lifecycles. Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to ensure the quality of sourced components and materials. Support product certifications and audits from regulatory bodies and third-party certification agencies.
