Job Description

As the Production Manager – Aluminium Manufacturing at Jindal Aluminium Limited, you will be responsible for overseeing the production operations in the aluminium manufacturing plant. Your role will involve managing production schedules, ensuring that quality standards are met, optimizing manufacturing processes, and leading a team to achieve production targets. You will work closely with other departments like procurement, quality control, and maintenance to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The goal is to ensure that production targets are met without compromising on quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the aluminium manufacturing plant. Oversee production schedules and ensure timely delivery of products. Implement and optimize manufacturing processes for better efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Monitor quality control procedures and ensure all products meet industry standards and customer specifications. Lead, train, and develop production teams to ensure a highly skilled and motivated workforce. Manage inventory control and ensure that materials are available for production without excessive stockpiling. Work with the maintenance team to minimize downtime and ensure that machines and equipment are in good working condition. Analyze production data and implement improvements to optimize production performance. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Conduct regular audits and inspections of the production floor to identify areas for improvement. Prepare and submit regular production reports to senior management.
