Job Description

As a Procurement Executive at Jindal Aluminium Limited, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring raw materials (such as aluminium billets, chemicals, packaging) and engineering goods required for plant operations. You will collaborate with vendors, production, maintenance, and finance teams to ensure uninterrupted supply, cost optimization, and compliance with company standards. Your goal will be to establish reliable vendor networks, manage procurement cycles, and maintain strategic inventory levels that support production continuity without excessive inventory holding. Key Responsibilities: Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for raw materials, consumables, and engineering components. Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts to ensure the best commercial terms. Manage procurement of aluminium billets, extrusion dies, spare parts, tools, lubricants, packaging materials, etc. Analyze inventory usage and consumption trends to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages. Monitor supplier performance based on quality, delivery timelines, and service reliability. Coordinate with stores and user departments for timely delivery and issue resolution. Process purchase orders (POs), track shipments, and maintain complete documentation.
